BAFTA Nominations 2018: Check Out the Full List

01/09/2018

The Bafta nomination list appears to have given us a different emphasis from the Golden Globes result.

With the Golden Globes now in the awards season rearview mirror, attention is turning across the Atlantic to nominees for Britain’s BAFTA Awards. The list appears to have given us a different emphasis from the Golden Globes result, but perhaps not so very different, and it’s a list which appears to have repeated the Globes’ groanworthy missteps on women directors. The BAFTAs, like the Globes, also did not nominate any women in the best director category this year, despite there being serious contenders like Gerwig and Mudbound’s Dee Rees.

After twelve years, the BAFTA ceremony this year will have a new presenter: Joanna Lumley is taking over from Stephen Fry. She'll be announcing the winners at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday 18 February. The full list of nominations follows.
